Job Summary
Provide academic support to students individually and in small groups under the direction of certified staff. Assist students in accessing classroom instruction, completing assigned work, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support behavior support plans using positive strategies and de-escalation techniques while helping students develop organizational, social, and independent living skills. Monitor and document student progress, supervise students in classrooms and hallways, and assist with the preparation of instructional materials. Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to promote student success.
