Job Summary
Implement Individual Education Plans and Behavior Implementation Plans while preparing instructional materials and equipment. Assist with personal care and hygiene activities, execute crisis response strategies including physical management when appropriate, and support alternate communication devices. Participate in verbal de-escalation training and maintain student documentation, Medicaid logs, and progress monitoring. Support student transitions and bus riding as needed, ensuring completion of required rider training. Build positive relationships with the school community, students, and staff while maintaining confidentiality. Work 3.25 hours daily for 177 days, reporting to the Building Principal.
