Job Summary
Under direction of professional staff, work with students individually or in group settings while ensuring student safety. Assist with supervision across classrooms, cafeterias, and halls; implement behavior management strategies and help students with health assistance, mealtime, and personal hygiene. Complete assigned tasks one-on-one, ride the bus with students, and prepare educational materials. Provide support in personal hygiene areas and assist students with transportation to and from buses or cars. Perform duties as assigned based on building and district needs. Requires two-year post-secondary education or paraeducator certificate. Position starts in the 2026-2027 school year at $17.26/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Two year post secondary education
- Paraeducator certificate
- Qualifying score on NCRC assessment test
