Job Summary
Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) for per diem early childhood program; provide 1:1 instruction to children aged 3-5 with developmental delays in preschool settings; travel to preschool programs; collaborate with families and multi-disciplinary teams; develop goals/outcomes, facilitate family involvement at home, and maintain documentation including progress reports per NYSED/ NYC DOE; coordinate services with CPSE and share progress information; participate in CPSE meetings by in-person or phone; requires NYS certification and vaccination; starting pay per 30-minute session and opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS Teacher Certification: Student with Disabilities, Birth – Grade 2, OR Certified Special Education Teacher (Permanent)
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated
