Job Summary
Develop individualized learning plans and deliver group and individual instruction within established curricular guidelines while supervising students in the classroom and assigned areas. Administer developmental testing and subject-specific assessments to evaluate competency levels and track progress toward IEP goals covering behavioral, motor, communication, and academic needs. Manage student behavior through functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans to ensure a safe learning environment, and provide direct care for medically fragile children including tube feeding and toileting. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community stakeholders to address instructional issues and reinforce classroom goals at home. Counsel students on performance, wellbeing, and problem-solving techniques, and guide assistant teachers and instructional assistants in delivering an effective program.

- Georgia certification in Special Education
- Maintains all licenses and certifications
