Job Summary
Full-time Special Education Instructional Teaching Assistant at Windsor Elementary School (Arlington Heights School District 25) for the 2026-27 school year. Supports students with significant special education needs by helping implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) throughout the school day during integration into general education classes, special education instructional classes, hallway transitions, lunch, recess, and activities of daily living (e.g., toileting, eating, dressing, grooming). Requires Illinois PARA license, SUB license, or PEL; strong communication with children and adults; ability to collaborate with instructional staff to support student progress and daily routines. Hours 8:45 am - 3:45 pm; salary $22.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Illinois ELS (PARA) Paraprofessional License, SUB license or PEL
- Have a genuine interest in students
- Ability to effectively communicate with children and adults
