Job Summary
Assist a certified teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitor and report student progress. Position is a full-time, 10-month role with a 6.25-hour school day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), 183 instructional days per year, and benefits. Responsibilities include supporting instructional delivery and maintaining communication about student progress. Qualifications include 48 college semester hours, an Associate’s Degree or a High School diploma with a passing Paraeducator Assessment, and the ability to contribute to a positive learning environment. Starting pay ranges from $16.46/hour to $20.26/hour, with experience-based pay adjustments and a structured hourly salary distributed over a 10-month contract.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Must meet one of the following: 48 college semester hours
- An Associate’s Degree OR
- High school diploma plus a passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment Exam
- Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire
- New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
