Job Summary
Assist students throughout the day with behavior and academics, refocusing them in the classroom, de-escalating negative behavior, and recognizing positive actions. Work cooperatively with the classroom teacher and Special Education staff to increase student independence. Manage behavior and support learning in both general and special education classrooms while maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating compassion, respect, and self-discipline. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher. This role requires a high school diploma, ParaPro/Para Educator testing, and a successful background check. Candidates must exhibit patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills. The position offers 6.5 hours per day with benefits including health, dental, and optical insurance.

- 60 college credits
