Job Summary
Lead and manage the development, proposal, and implementation of eligible students’ IEPs in accordance with state and federal law; oversee a caseload of 60-70 Tk-12 students, ensuring timely IEP processes and deadlines; conduct comprehensive academic testing and evaluations for initial eligibility and re-evaluation; collaborate with general education teachers and families to develop measurable annual goals in academics, behavior, and social-emotional domains; collect and analyze data to monitor progress and inform planning; coordinate with service providers and general education colleagues to tailor accommodations and modifications; facilitate IEP meetings as LEA Admin designee or Education Specialist; maintain up-to-date special education records; role includes travel up to 40% and a hybrid work arrangement (on-site four days per week, remote one day); based at KIPP Public Schools Northern California with frequent travel to schools and districts; compensation within the stated salary range.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education
- Experience in special education case management (2+ years)
- Experience using SEIS for IEP management
