Job Summary
Special Education Facilitator leads MTSS implementation and inclusive practices district-wide to ensure students with disabilities access general education environments. Provides collaborative modeling, co-teaching support, and instructional improvement across classrooms; spends ~70% in classrooms or professional learning settings; supports data-driven decision making, IEP quality, and professional development. Requires Master’s Degree in Special Education and a valid Iowa teaching license with Special Education endorsement, with 3–5 years of experience; travel within the district and strong knowledge of MTSS, SDI, IDEA, and confidentiality regulations.
