Job Summary
Coordinate and implement special education services across San Antonio campuses, collaborating with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families to support ARD/IEP processes, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintain accurate, timely documentation using special education platforms; stay current with district requirements and provide guidance to staff on compliance and program implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Special Education Coordinator or related role
- Strong knowledge of special education programs, compliance, and documentation systems
- Understanding of ARD/IEP processes and special education services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation (if supporting multiple campuses)
