Job Summary
Special Education Coordinator / Special Education Teacher (0.5 FTE / 0.5 FTE) at Noble Academy. Provides direct special education instruction and case management while coordinating and implementing the district's special education program. Ensures compliance with state and federal special education requirements, supports due process procedures, coordinates evaluations and IEPs, and delivers specialized instruction to students with disabilities. Responsibilities include coordinating communication among families, staff, and service providers; mentoring and coaching special education staff; maintaining accurate records and reports; developing evaluation plans; participating in IEP and Child Study meetings; and collaborating with general education staff to support inclusive instruction. Licensure in Special Education is required; position emphasizes organizational, data-driven, and collaborative skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current Minnesota PELSB licensure in Special Education
- Experience in special education case management preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws, regulations, and due process requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
