Special Education Co-Teacher to support grades 3-5 at Judson Elementary School. Responsibilities include collaborating with general education teachers to plan, deliver, and assess instruction, providing specially designed instruction, implementing accommodations/modifications from students’ IEPs, conducting diagnostic evaluations, monitoring progress with data, and using effective behavior strategies. Duties also involve parental involvement, coordinating schedules with paraprofessional staff and related services providers, and contributing to inclusive, supportive classroom environments with a focus on students with Autism or other developmental disabilities. 188 days contractual year, in Watertown, CT, under the Watertown Board of Education and the Watertown Education Association.
