Job Summary
Conduct daily support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including assisting with orientation, reading, music, art, and physical education. Implement prescribed behavioral management programs and facilitate physical mobility, self-care, and personal hygiene tasks such as toileting and feeding. Monitor medical support devices and participate in physical activities, lunch, and recess. Distribute classroom materials, prepare instructional resources, and correct student work while maintaining confidentiality. Report successes and difficulties with student learning plans to special educators in a timely manner. Supervise students during non-classroom activities and perform other duties as assigned by the building principal or special educators.
