Special Education Associate - Timberline Middle School

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and guide independent, enrichment, and remedial work assigned by the teacher. Assist in devising strategies based on student needs, support generalization in integrated settings, and implement behavior support plans. Distribute materials, read to students, and supervise routines including lunch, snacks, and transitions. Operate classroom equipment, assist with large and small group activities, and lead students during emergency drills and field trips. Serve as the primary support for substitute teachers and maintain accurate data collection. Commit to ongoing professional growth while ensuring ethical behavior and confidentiality. Maximize daily instructional time within a team environment focused on Positive Behavior Interventions and Support.
