Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides a variety of services to assist students with special needs in a learning environment; helps staff develop and implement individualized lessons and activities for students with disabilities; monitors student activities, reinforces classroom learning, and aids with transitions, health-related cares, and daily hygiene; maintains behavior documentation and supports documentation for IEP, FBA, and related programs; requires First Aid/CPR/AED, CPI training within one year; appears in a paraprofessional role with part-time equivalency (0.7875 FTE, 31.5 hours/week over 41 weeks).
Required Qualifications
- Completion of 90 quarter/60 semester college credits or higher OR A passing score of 460 (or higher) on the ParaPro Assessessment AND either a high school diploma or a GED certificate AND Two years of experience working with children.
