Job Summary
Provides support to the instructional program in an Early Childhood Special Education classroom as a paraprofessional. Assists in supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs; helps implement instructional plans; monitors student behavior; communicates pertinent information to school personnel. Requires High School diploma, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), CPI training, and demonstrated skills in behavior management. Works under supervision in a full-time, school-year role (~33 hours/week) with health benefits; supports a collaborative team and maintains confidentiality.
