Job Summary
Special Education Assistant provides academic support and behavioral interventions within the Boardwalk Upper Elementary School as part of the Connections Program. The role collaborates with general education and special education teachers and therapists to deliver academic, social, and emotional support, uses data collection to track progress, and supports students with mild to moderate disabilities through small-group and individualized instruction. 31 hours per week with a pay rate of $26.31–$30.22 per hour. A Bachelor's degree in special education or related field is preferred, and prior experience in a public school setting is desired. The district emphasizes diversity and inclusive practices in staffing.
