Job Summary
Special Education Program Assistant role supporting students with ASD in Cedar Springs Public Schools. Responsibilities include supervising, caring for, and instructing students with special needs; assisting in implementing instructional plans; monitoring behavior; providing information to school personnel; and maintaining confidentiality. Requires CPR certification or willingness to obtain, CPI training or willingness to obtain, depenedability, patience, and ability to work outdoors in all seasons. Reports to Building Principal; 32.5 hours/week for the 2026-27 school year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Current CPR Certification or willing to obtain CPR certificate
- Current CPI training or willing to obtain CPI training
- Evidence of skills with behavior management
