Special Education Assistant - 1 on 1 Paraprofessional

Special Education Assistant supports teachers in a diverse classroom by providing materials and handouts to special education students, assisting with individual or group activities across academic, social, emotional, functional, language, and behavior skills, helping with lesson plans and daily activities, and monitoring behavior to enforce standards. Responsibilities include assisting with feeding, toileting/diapering, adaptive equipment, and data-informed instructional planning; preparing incident documents and communicating with parents about student progress and concerns; supervising safety on the playground and in the cafeteria; and preparing classrooms for activities plus basic administrative tasks and coordination with teachers.
