Job Summary
Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction using proven educational models for social-emotional learning, personalized learning, and data-driven differentiated instruction. Ensure high academic standards by setting goals, supporting curriculum and individualized learning plans, and developing positive relationships with students and families. Collaborate with instructional leaders and clearly communicate with administration, colleagues, students, and parents to improve academic outcomes. Maintain classroom management consistent with school-wide rules and exhibit professionalism, leadership, and personal responsibility for daily work and attendance. Operate standard office equipment, prepare work documents, and walk around the classroom 60% of the day while lifting up to 20 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid Illinois Paraprofessional Educator License (PARA) or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- 60 Credit Hours of Higher Education (preferred)
