Job Summary
Provides assistance to classroom teachers in the management and instruction of students; performs related tasks under the direction and supervision of classroom teachers; independently carries out routine aspects of the instructional program; assists in delivering instructions, developing teaching aids, and supporting students with lesson assignments; assists with grading, field trips, library activities, and other instructional support tasks; maintains a safe, orderly classroom and confidential handling of student information; requires ability to move and supervise students and to collaborate with teachers and staff; adheres to school/division policies and promotes non-discriminatory practices.
Required Qualifications
- Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
- Candidate must possess good moral character.
