Job Summary
Provide support to students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom; assist with implementing classroom programs and Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instructional activities; operate under the supervision of the principal and a certified teacher; requires ability to work with children with disabilities, follow verbal and written instructions, communicate effectively, and use general office equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Associate’s degree, two years of study at an institution of higher learning, or equivalent per ESSA preferred
