Job Summary
Support a special education teacher by assisting with the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Help implement classroom programs including self-help, behavior management, and instruction, under the supervision of the principal and a certified teacher. Requires an associate’s degree or two years of study, and typically involves moderate walking, standing, and physical tasks such as lifting students up to 53 pounds. Strong communication and ability to follow instructions are essential. Pay grade: Instructional Support 1; Days: 183; Location: Magnolia, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or two years of study at an institute of higher learning
- Educational Aide Certificate recommended by district upon hire
