Job Summary
Special Education Teacher’s Aide provides hands-on support to students with special needs, assists with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), supports group and one-on-one academic tasks and social skills, helps maintain a positive and inclusive classroom, assists during activities including lessons, projects, and adaptive physical education, monitors student progress, and collaborates with teachers, specialists, and families to foster growth and a caring learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree preferred, or High School diploma or GED with 60 hours college credit, or passing score on the ParaPro exam
- Experience working with children
