Special Education Administrator

Assist principals and staff with problem-solving and planning involving students with special needs, their families, and staff members. Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and rules for special education and the Student Services department. Monitor instructional program delivery, evaluate staff performance, and determine staffing levels in cooperation with principals and the Executive Director of Student Services. Coordinate state and district assessment procedures, manage accommodations, and support extended school year programming. Guide professional development activities and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Monitor students in out-of-district programs and perform other duties as assigned.
