Job Summary
Special Education Evaluator/Learning Specialist administers academic assessments, conducts comprehensive evaluations for initial, reevaluation, and eligibility determinations, and prepares clear evaluation reports communicating student strengths, needs, and educational implications. Collaborates with IEP/Section 504 teams to develop goals, accommodations, and services aligned with evaluation findings; participates in pre-meetings, SST meetings, and may lead IEP meetings. Ensures compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and district procedures; maintains records and supports data-driven instructional planning. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and a Massachusetts Moderate Disabilities Teaching License in PreK-8; strong communication, collaboration, and adherence to standardized testing protocols. Regular onsite work across CDCPS campuses in Massachusetts with travel between campuses; evening or weekend events may be required. EEO/Pay Transparency statements noted.
