Special Ed Teacher

Supervise students in the resource room by planning curriculum, lessons, and special education programs tailored to enable educational benefits. Build trust with students while instructing groups on specific skill areas and modifying curriculum as needed. Maintain the physical classroom environment, monitor progress inside and outside the room, and administer testing evaluations. Evaluate student performance based on work output and observations to determine goals and objectives. Prepare report cards, IEP forms, and observation records, and maintain contact with parents. Participate in weekly building Special Education Committee meetings. This role supports 5th through 8th grade students at Oak Hill Middle School.
