Special Ed Teacher(K-8)

Facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students by establishing a nurturing learning environment and responding to individual needs. Implement assessment measures, select effective instructional methods, and maintain open communication with parents and guardians. Cover classes according to contractual guidelines, supervise students during transitions, and manage classroom discipline while ensuring proper order at the end of the day. Coordinate school-wide projects, participate in faculty meetings, and adhere to professional standards and district policies. Maintain open lines of communication among staff, parents, and administration while supporting mainstreamed students through collaboration with specialists.
