Job Summary
Special Counsel in Employment Law (Remote) with 7+ years of employment litigation experience. Lead or supporting counsel on single-plaintiff matters, respond to EEOC/state agency charges and attorney demand letters, handle depositions, motions, hearings, and mediations, oversee junior attorneys, and support class actions and PAGA as appropriate. Remote-first role with occasional local travel; collaborative, nationwide firm resources; competitive base salary of $185,000–$200,000; strong benefits package. Must have JD from ABA-accredited school, active bar membership, and significant litigation experience in EPLI-focused employment matters. California bar a plus.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- 7+ years of experience in employment litigation and counseling
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to manage litigation independently
- Experience working with EPLI clients preferred
- Prior law firm experience strongly desired
- California bar admission is a plus
