Job Summary
Support new client admissions and start-of-care visits, providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene. Prepare meals, assist with daily living activities, and perform housekeeping and household support. Assist with errands and transportation when appropriate, while monitoring and reporting changes in client condition. Maintain accurate documentation and visit records, and provide coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs. Travel throughout the assigned service area to support clients. This role offers flexible scheduling, paid mileage and travel time, and clear pathways for career growth within Personal Care Services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, where required by state regulations
- Minimum six (6) months of experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals
- Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Homemaker, CNA, MA, or similar certification where required
- Basic technology skills and comfort using mobile devices, apps, and electronic documentation systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing assignments
- Reliable personal transportation, current registration, and auto insurance
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform physical caregiving duties
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
