Job Summary

Produce a quarterly newsletter, write feature stories, and coordinate alumni engagements, banquets, and award ceremonies. Develop annual social media strategies, manage content calendars, and create end-of-season highlights while organizing photo and video shoots. Build customized recruiting itineraries, coordinate meetings and presentations, and prepare speaking materials for the Head Coach. Serve as the point person for special projects, including summer camp promotions, donor event coordination, and facility signage. Manage recruiting materials, alumni databases, and program files with high attention to detail. Assist with day-to-day operations and storytelling to enhance the recruiting experience for student-athletes and fans.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship
  • Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • This is an in-person position
  • Sitting for extended periods (typically 6–8 hours per day)
  • Occasional standing or walking (e.g., to retrieve files, go to meetings)
  • Hand and finger dexterity (e.g., typing, using a mouse, handling paperwork)
  • Repetitive hand and wrist movements (e.g., keyboarding, data entry)
  • Visual acuity (e.g., reading screens, documents)
  • Hearing ability (e.g., participating in phone calls, video conferences)
  • Minimal lifting requirements (usually under 10–15 lbs, such as files, laptops)
  • Basic upper body movement (e.g., reaching for office supplies, opening drawers)
  • Occasional bending or twisting (e.g., picking up items, adjusting seating)
  • Cognitive focus and mental stamina (e.g., prolonged concentration on tasks)
  • Team travel will be required during the basketball season

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, creative media, sports administration, business administration or a related field preferred
