Job Summary
Support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission by attending business consulting meetings, managing risk and action items, and resolving complex cyber issues across all Department levels. Draft, review, and standardize technical correspondence, reports, and official memoranda for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate products from internal and external organizations, ensuring data accuracy and shepherding deliverables through approval processes. Serve as the central coordination point for the Security Operations Center, aligning incident response and operational priorities with executive leadership. Engage at the executive level to achieve project objectives and manage workflows for key SOC metrics. This onsite role in Arlington, VA requires 5 days a week. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, possess Security+ certification, and maintain an Active Secret clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Must possess or be able to obtain the following certification before start date: Security+
- Continued certification required as a condition of employment
- Demonstrated experience in developing requirements, work-flow, and systems analysis
- Experience and familiarity with preparing complex operating instructions
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and editing technical correspondence and presentations for internal/external meetings
- Experience engaging with executive level leadership
- U.S. citizenship
- Active Secret security with the ability to obtain a final Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
