Job Summary
Assist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements under the supervision of a certified teacher. Work well with children with disabilities, following verbal and written instructions while maintaining a patient and calm demeanor. Provide support in instructional settings for early childhood grades PK-K.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Educational Aide Certificate Meets Highly Qualified status with either an Associate's degree or higher, 48 college hours or a certificate demonstrating state or local academic assessment
- Ability to work well with children with disabilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Patient and calm demeanor with students and others
- Some experience working with children in an instructional setting
- Experience with children and early childhood grades PK-K
