Job Summary
Facilitate underwriting approval memos and Problem Loan Management Reports by tracking financial statements, appraisals, and covenant compliance. Conduct due diligence including trade reference verification, credit reports, and industry research while attending client meetings with Relationship Managers. Prepare regulatory and management reports, analyze financial information, and assist in creating cash-flow schedules, collateral schedules, and financial models. Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls while participating in internal strategy discussions. Perform related duties and special projects as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or four years of equivalent related experience
- 5 years of commercial lending or commercial credit experience
- Requires very strong financial analytical skills
- Solid knowledge of personal computers
- Thorough knowledge of various software programs: Word, Excel and other departmental software
- Hybrid position requiring in-office work four days a week
- Location Buffalo, NY, Bridgeport, CT, Metro NYC, Boston, MA, Baltimore, MD or Wilmington, DE
Desired Qualifications
- Bankruptcy experience preferred
- Excellent analytical ability
- Knowledge of credit principles
