Spec, ESE

0.50 ESE Specialist and 0.50 VE—provide site-based support in exceptional student education, collaborating with school and district staff to support curriculum, instruction, behavior, compliance, and program decisions; assist site-based admin, ESE, and general education teams to ensure FAPE and improve outcomes for students with disabilities; design and deliver job-embedded professional development in coordination with district directors and regional teams; support ESE services alignment with IDEA, state statutes, and district procedures; communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate student success and graduation; serve as liaison between school, parents, district staff, and community groups; develop systems to build teacher capacity, improve case management (IEPs, progress monitoring, eligibilities, internal articulation); demonstrate ongoing professional growth and maintain certifications; perform other duties as assigned.
