Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of five technical specialists across safety, project management, and rail simulation disciplines in Sweden. Drive strategic business growth by cultivating client relationships and identifying new opportunities within the Nordic and global rail markets. Own the unit's operational and financial performance through resource planning, budget ownership, and commercial success. Oversee the delivery of complex safety and advisory projects while ensuring high technical quality and effective risk management. Collaborate with international teams across Sweden, Denmark, and the UK to share expertise and shape the future direction of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams within engineering consultancy, infrastructure, transport or another regulated technical environment
- Demonstrated experience with business development, client relationship management and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth
- Experience managing departmental or project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and resource planning
- Strong understanding of project delivery, commercial management and stakeholder engagement within complex technical environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire others, influence decision-making and build trusted relationships
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Some travel within Sweden expected
- Some international travel expected
