Job Summary
Maintain positive workflow by operating washers, decontaminating instrumentation, and processing surgical instruments through decontamination, preparation, packing, and case cart setup. Manage daily activities within the Surgical Services department to ensure adequate support for sterile processing and sterilization under SPD leadership. Obtain and distribute Storeroom supplies to areas in need when covering the Distribution Department. Requires ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, perform simple math, and communicate clearly. Previous hospital instrument processing experience is preferred.
