SPD Technician - Flagstaff, AZ

Decontaminate, assemble, and package all surgical instruments following established protocols while operating autoclaves and maintaining wash solutions. Inspect instrumentation for damage, prepare repair requests, and restock inventory to distribute trays and case carts with extreme accuracy. Respond to problem calls from the Operating Room, perform preliminary investigations, and maintain logs for sterilizer loads and biological monitoring. Tech II candidates additionally precept new employees, manage surgical specialty inventory, act as the department liaison for complex issues, and support Lead Techs. Report safety incidents and injuries immediately through the Midas/RDE tool and comply with all state and federal regulations.
