Job Summary
Lead operations of HQHVSN spay/neuter clinics in Oakland and Dublin, managing staff and ensuring high-quality client and patient care. Oversee daily clinic operations, scheduling, training and performance management, and collaborate with Community Medicine Manager to meet goals. Maintain regulatory and safety compliance (DEA, OSHA), manage inventory and PMS, coordinate with volunteers, and liaise with veterinary team to ensure efficient, compassionate service across facilities. Travel between clinics as needed; ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and management; support fundraising and community outreach activities.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years in a management or supervisory position within a veterinary clinic or an animal welfare setting.
- Ability to travel between facilities; must have valid CA driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- Fear Free Certified or ability to become so within 90 days of hire.
- Hold a Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
