Job Summary
Conduct before-school pickups and afternoon drop-offs for students in a split shift schedule, with optional charter route trips available. Operate school buses Monday through Friday in Peace River, AB, adhering to a casual dress code and utilizing on-site parking. No prior driving experience is required; you will receive industry-leading training and participate in the Child-Ride-Along Program. Earn $26.70 per hour with no night or weekend shifts unless desired. This role supports First Student's mission to provide safe transportation for over 5 million students daily while fostering an inclusive culture for diverse applicants, including retirees and those re-entering the workforce.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Be at least 21 years old
- Be available for a split shift (early morning before-school pickup and after-school drop-off)
- Be available for trips and charters when available
- Be willing to work weekends
- Be willing to work nights
- Agree to a background check
- Have military experience
- Be a retiree
- Be returning to the workforce or looking for a second job

- Not have a college degree or high school diploma
