Job Summary
Spare Pool Employee at AV Group NB Inc. Atholville Mill. Provides relief for various operating positions including clean up, lifting and handling of materials and general labour duties within a pulp mill environment. Requires mechanical aptitude, problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken form. Must be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime and in-calls. Position supports continuous improvement opportunities and contributes to safe, efficient mill operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year course with a post-secondary institution in an industrial related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Above average written & spoken communication skills
- Displays initiative and flexibility
- Understands and is able to demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making
- Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, overtime and in-calls.
