Spare Parts Coordinator

Job Summary
Conduct accurate and timely inventory transactions for materials consumed in the manufacturing process, utilizing a CMMS program to control spare parts inventory and ensure availability for work order completion. Liaise with Purchasing & Payables for delivery scheduling, perform electronic transactions for issuing and reserving materials, and process manufacturing jobs while recording production quantities. Execute physical and electronic inventory movements, conduct stock checks and cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate inventory labeling, replacement parts records, and maintenance documentation, including service, downtime, and preventative maintenance logs. Perform mathematical calculations for density conversions and ratios with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or sufficient experience pertaining to this job
- Experience working with computer-based inventory management software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen / background check
- Must complete online safety training prior to start date
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing programs and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office)
- Work effectively with different levels of management, team members and customers
- Must be available for scheduled shifts (5 consecutive 8-hour shift per day Monday through Friday, or 4 consecutive 10-hour shift Monday through Thursday, or as directed by manager)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing/distribution software or general business software
- Some knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, or distribution environments
