Job Summary
Translate between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking staff, acting as the go-to person for questions and ensuring clear communication across the production floor. Assist the Production Supervisor in delivering job descriptions, training checklists, and work aids, while conducting daily training on procedures, policies, and the IFS system. Report employee progress and address concerns directly, and facilitate group meetings in Spanish to cover agenda items discussed in English. Attend scheduled translator meetings for updates on training and procedures, and assist in scheduling supplemental trainings for equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Follow all safety instructions, wear required PPE, and report injuries or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications

- Report any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor
- Wear required PPE, including hearing protection and slip resistant shoes where necessary
- Make safety recommendations to any Safety Committee Member
- Translate between the Spanish speaking staff and the English-speaking staff
- Assist managers, supervisors, trainers, quality control and operators with communication and training of Spanish speaking workers
- Act as the go to person if the Spanish speaking worker has any questions
- Assist Production Supervisor in providing Spanish speaking employees with job description, training checklist and any other work aid needed during the training process
- Will work with the Spanish speaking staff each and every day
- Will follow the designated training checklist forms while teaching and educating Spanish speaking employees on procedures and policies that affect both the employee and the product
- Will report the progress of the Spanish speaking Employee to the Production Supervisor and work directly with the employee on any and all areas of concern
- Work with Production Supervisor in training all required trainings in IFS
- Assist Production Supervisor in getting employee any supplemental trainings scheduled
- Attend any Translator meetings scheduled for updates on training, procedures, and policies
- Assist/Perform group meetings in Spanish to cover items discussed in English meeting
- Clean background check
- Successful drug test (UA)
