Job Summary
Montessori Primary Spanish Teacher needed for a part-time, contractual role in Windsor, CT. Teach Spanish to ages 3–6, plan and deliver Montessori-aligned lessons, introduce vocabulary and cultural elements, maintain a calm classroom, collaborate with staff, and foster early language development through songs, movement, conversation, and hands-on activities. Schedule is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00–11:00 AM, 10-month academic-year position; compensation is $25/hour. Independent, self-starting educator with experience in early childhood and Montessori settings preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (ages 3–6) required
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with Montessori philosophy is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Reliable, organized, and consistent
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
