Job Summary
Spanish School Teacher responsible for designing and delivering Spanish language instruction, integrating cultural, historical, and geographical knowledge into lessons, and fostering a love for the language while developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Responsibilities include curriculum development aligned with standards, diverse instructional methods, classroom management, ongoing assessment and feedback, collaboration with colleagues, parent communication, participation in professional development and school meetings, and promoting cultural understanding through events and language clubs. Skills emphasized include curriculum design, bilingual instruction, communication, organization, and ability to engage students of varied ages and backgrounds. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification or credential in Spanish language instruction (as required by the employing educational institution)
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English
