Job Summary
Manage virtual instructional programs for grades 9–12 by conducting synchronous and asynchronous sessions, grading, creating progress reports, and leading parent conferences. Support students and parents with daily assignments, projects, and alternate learning strategies while developing Personal Learning Plans. Collaborate with learning coaches, curriculum specialists, and other teachers to coordinate social activities, manage regional field trips, and integrate them into the curriculum. Maintain up-to-date student records, attendance data, and contact logs. Participate in state testing administration, student recruiting sessions, and occasional evening hours or overnight travel for marketing and testing events. Work remotely with flexibility to support families and ensure all students progress through the program.
Required Qualifications
- Highly qualified and certified to teach high school Spanish in Nevada
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
- Team player track record
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
