Job Summary
Teach interactive beginner-level Spanish through games, songs, vocabulary activities, and cultural lessons for K-5th students. Maintain a positive classroom environment, prepare weekly lesson plans, and supervise transitions while ensuring safety. Communicate with school staff, track attendance, and report concerns as needed. Substitute teachers may fill in when needed or assume the main instructor role if the primary instructor is unavailable. Candidates must have prior experience teaching children or leading youth programs, conversational to fluent Spanish proficiency, and reliable transportation. Live Scan background checks and proof of 100/300k auto insurance are required for El Cajon locations.
