Job Summary

Teach Spanish language and culture classes to high school students while developing and administering district-approved curriculum. Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning, modify instructional methods for individual needs, and administer standardized tests in accordance with district programs. Maintain accurate records for grading, reporting, and attendance, and coordinate with grade-level staff to evaluate curriculum and participate in faculty meetings. Encourage parental involvement, ensure student conduct conforms to district policies, and supervise students during out-of-classroom activities. Continuously acquire professional knowledge through seminars and workshops to address specific educational needs and create a safe, flexible learning environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
  • Current Montana Educator License.
  • Endorsement for Spanish- 5-12.
  • Successful experience teaching Spanish and working with children/students.

Desired Qualifications

  • Successful experience teaching secondary students.
