Job Summary
Design engaging, communicative, and student-centered Spanish lessons for Grades 4 through 8, fostering meaningful oral communication and cultural appreciation. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs while integrating technology into language teaching. Collaborate effectively with French and English faculty to cultivate a multilingual environment that connects students across languages and cultures. Build respectful relationships with students and families while contributing positively to the school community beyond the classroom. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
- Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Experience teaching Spanish as a second or foreign language preferred
- Familiarity with ACTFL proficiency standards is an asset
- Demonstrate excellent instructional and classroom management skills
